Last week, the New England design community joined us to celebrate the opening of our new showroom and design studio in the Boston Design Center. Friends old and new mingled, talked shop, and sneaked a peek at our upcoming collection of luxurious wool and mohair rugs.
The studio will showcase products and collections, while offering designers a collaborative workspace to brainstorm ideas for their projects.
“We envision the space as a creative studio,” said Catherine Connolly, Merida CEO and Owner. “Designers can engage us at the start of their projects, and tap Merida’s textile knowledge and design expertise. We’re here to help them create highly personalized rugs that are integral to their project vision.”

“Merida is headquartered in Boston, and we manufacture in Massachusetts, so the local design community has always been supportive of what we do,” Connolly added. “Now we can offer New England designers new opportunities to expand on their creative vision.”

The showroom is located on the third floor in suite 330 of The Boston Design Center, Boston’s top destination for luxury interior furnishings and the hub of New England’s design community. Merida also has a showroom at Harbinger in LA’s La Cienega Design Quarter, and offices in New York City. Come visit us to bounce ideas and tap our expertise.
